Bio: Emily Rice is currently a junior at Marshall University studying journalism and photography. She is West Virginia native who plans to move to "The Big Apple" upon graduation (don't we all). She can most often be found either rushing somewhere to make a deadline, carrying too much photography equipment, or spending time with her dog and reading. Her career goals are to be a photojournalist; she wants to travel the world, telling people's stories through her writing and photography and settling social, political, and environmental injustices through this work. Her personal goals include: mastering yoga, saving as many animals as possible, petting all the dogs, and winning a Pulitzer.
